Capitalism: Adidas will close both robotic factories

    Production at the two Speedfactories in Ansbach, Germany, and Atlanta, USA, will be discontinued by April 2020 at the latest. In the future, Adidas will concentrate its resources and capacities even more on modernizing its other suppliers and using 4D technology in footwear production.

    Starting at the end of this year, Adidas will use its Speedfactory technologies to produce athletic footwear at two of its suppliers in Asia

    To make it simple - hiring people for very small money and use 12 hours work day (using some simple tricks) is much more profitable. Some of robots will be used in Asian factories, but robotics factories will be gone.
