    Small info from talks and leaks:

    • Canon won't make any new lenses except ones announced and may be small kit lens update.
    • Canon won't make any significant body design updates until whole system will be shelved
    • But due to fact that some bodies had been almost ready before EOS R mount they will be released still
    • It is expected that 4K crop will remain, but will be smaller, as well as serial shooting speed will be up around 30%
    • Canon will took special pause until releasing first EOS R APS-C bodies to try to clear stock of all EOS-M line

    Bad news for those who like the EOS M system, myself included. A new rumor suggests Canon might not continue the EOS M lineup after 2021.
