  • It is an interesting alternative to the Tascam DR10X. (which I see is what you're using in the video! Why was this never mentioned during the video itself....)

This product came out back late last year.

It is also another product I got a world first in blogging about ;-) Wrote this up well before it got officially announced:

  • @IronFilm

You'll be surprised, but we have 4 Tascam DR10x recorders across the teams now.

We also have Saramonic, but did not used it in real stuff yet.

And it is time to start writing for PV.

Sweet, excellent! Nifty little units they are. Kinda surprising no one put out one of these earlier than Tascam, such a simple but genius idea.

Ha, well always happy to spread my writings far and wide! :-)

  • This recorder is relatively cheaper in India at $118 approx. Saramonic has been here for a couple of years now and i can say has a reputation of providing good quality products at a very competitive price. Their pre-amps are usually top notch and have very low noise and i guess this recorder shouldn't be too different.

  • @Greenidge Where in India did you find this recorder?

    Very nice review!
