    WOW! Also DAMN! I had no idea that Samsung was that big. It's mind boggling to take that all in.

    US and allies in 90s managed to almost destroy another Chaebol - Daewoo.

    All the major chaebols are highly diversified. Still with Samsung, Samsung Electronics accounts for 2/3 of the revenues ~$200B out of $300B and even more so on profits for the group. So SSE's health largely dictates the pulse of the group. Insurance biz is $20B+ and construction ~$10B
