2014 is the 300th anniversary of the composer C.P.E. Bach, one of the most influential of the sons of J.S. Bach. One of the obvious differences between the father and son is that C.P.E. wrote cello concertos, whereas J.S. Bach wrote the suites for unaccompanied cello.
