    Probably something essential is missing, e.g. video mode.

    But if Olympus treat it correctly (what I doubt), could be a huge thing.

    It's perfect for aerial photos / filming. With a proper API allowing access to the sensor raw data, implementing features, film modes and encoders will be much easier, since the development platform will be iOS / Android.

    But I guess that will be treated as a toy, like the Sony's QX series.

    I interviewed a Olympus manager about it. It is a design idea, what technique may be able to do. It is not a product and has no date when it will become one. They hope some people will help to develop it.
    It is really an idea, not much more.
