Has anybody heard of remote phosphor LED?
It is Supposed to be the next new thing. High CRI, customizable and very efficient. The outside surface of the bulb or fixture contains the phosphor and an internal high power LED source causes the phosphor to glow. The benefit is a consistent and uniform light source with no shadows or hot spots. I've found bulb style 98 CRI lights for under US$20.
First, title was misleading, fixed.
They are no efficient, as it is easy to understand that they lack any optics. They are also very costly.
To be short - except high end I see no such lights.

I bought the 5K but they have 4K.
The individual bulbs are 800 lumen, so had to redo all my spots and flood arrays. That said, Good lighting makes a world of difference in the finished product.
These lights are perfect! ...At least perfect for what I'm doing.

First, they are not with remote phosphor, as I said.
Second, we could have them on deals with time.
