Can't trasnfer .bin to SD card because it is read-only

    I can't transfer .bin to SD when the camera is connected to the PC. It says that it's read-only. I have a Panasonic G6. How do I unlock the camera so I can write files to it. I am able to take photos so the SD isn't locked.

    I can, and I will, but I was wondering if it is possible to transfer the file through USB connection to the camera, or is it only possible through a SD card reader.
