Keyboard with autohotkey. And for fast scrubbing trough footage and timeline I use a wacom tablet.

I don't know why it would help, but slow format with this software helped me several times I had this message "recording cancelled due to the speed limitations of the card"

After clicking on the .pkg an installation window pops up. I can enter my OSX password and then the installation package will be verified. This is the point it stucks.

I did it with an 32 GB Transcend Class 10 Card, too. One time it stopped, but once it stopped after 3 files. Strange.

I did a quick spanning test. It spans in 24H with a Sandisk 64GB 95 MB/s. I could record until the battery died.
