Unfortunately, I don't have the time or ambition to try loads of different patches, and I would really love if someone could give a solid answer as to what the best patch is. The answer of "it's a matter of personal preference" is a cop-out, and in my opinion is incorrect. A better image, is a better image.

I've done a lot of research, and it appears Moon T8 is a popular option but I've also seen this video on Youtube using the Intravenus hack which looks absolutely stunning.

So, let's put an end to the ambiguity. What is the best hack for the GH2?

I don't think I told Google to stabilize the video but last night, I saw that the video was saying "Edit in progress" check it later today and was told the video got stabilized. I guess my video had so many shakes that Google insisted that it be stabilized rather I choose it or not. Still, for all I know, I might have hit it by accident without realizing it.

Straight out of the box the following works;-

The second part was recorded with Red Epic, Red Scarlet and GoPro HD Hero 3. But interesting all the work that's involved in the actual realization.

We tried to recreate every shot as close as we could to the original. Audio isn't optimal due to unfortunate absence of a audioguy. But all in all, quite satisfied.

Could anyone be so kind to tell me what types of hacks run good in this card and which hacks would you actually use... this will save me a lot of headaches since I will be able to narrow it down and test the few good patches.

I am using the GH2

It was all shot at 720p50, using a Voigtlander 25mm 0.95, Canon FD 50mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8.

As a cautionary tale, I attempted to shoot with the Flowmotion v1.11 patch, but found when getting the footage in it was averaging a very low bitrate of between 14 - 17 mbps, which I can only attribute to me not having applied the patch correctly. So always test your bitrates before going out into a shoot! I can't work out why this patch won't work for me as I don't have problems with any others.

Anyhow, just wanted to express my thanks for all the work you guys do on this forum, and to show how great this little camera can look even without a massive high bitrate patch!
