- Three new lenses: 18mm (27mm equivalent) f/2.0, 35mm (53mm equivalent) f/1.4 and 60mm (90mm equivalent) f/2.4
- Responsephoto says the Camera+35mm lens kit will cost 1.300 Euro. That’s actually just a bit higher than the Fuji X100 price. The other two lenses will cost 600 Euro each.
- Responsephoto says the sensors name is X-Trans! R. writes that Fuji took some ideas from the classica film technology to create the new sensor which will beat the image quality of all current fulflrame sensors! The photosites will be of 6 different colors and disposed randomly, therefore moire will be avoided.
- There is no Anti Aliasing filter on the sensor.
- The lenses are made of metal.
- The camera has the new X-mount. The lens mount acutally goes a little bit “inside” the body! The mount diameter will be large and its flange will be of 17.7 mm.
- The viewfinder is hybrid (optical and electronic). The optical viewfinder changes the view depending on the kind of prime lens you sue. This again is an idea coming from the Contax G2!
- Other incredible new thing: The autofocus sensor is…external! There is a special AF sensor on the camera body!

I really hope Fuji delivers. Everything looks amazing... build quality, specifcations, lenses. I haven't found any video specifications yet. ]]>
What would be the best Fuji cameras for video? https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/26229/what-would-be-the-best-fuji-cameras-for-video- Thu, 23 Sep 2021 18:22:49 +0000 Manu4Vendetta 26229@/talks/discussions Obviously the answer is the X-T4, but Fuji has an extensive lineup of models, but it's confusing for the same reason if you dont know the Fuji world.

So it would be good to indicate which would be the recommended models and in order of their cameras for video.

Thanks.

C-Mount Speed Booster? https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/11668/c-mount-speed-booster Wed, 29 Oct 2014 07:06:52 +0000 Brian202020 11668@/talks/discussions Does anyone know of a way to get a Speed Boosted image from a C-Mount camera? I'd rather use one official Metabones Speed Booster with a second adapter than having it all in one generic Speed Booster adapter, but I'll take all idea's. Metabones currently makes MFT, NEX/E-Mount, and Fuji X Speed Boosters, so ideally I'm looking for one of those mounts to C-Mount. I'm having trouble finding such an adapter. Thanks.

Support a Lovecraftian horror short I've co-written and DPing on 16mm! https://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4692/support-a-lovecraftian-horror-short-ive-co-written-and-dping-on-16mm Mon, 24 Sep 2012 09:42:58 +0000 Gabel 4692@/talks/discussions Hello everybody!

I'm posting here to promote my short horror film, called Insane Madness. It's a short film, inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft and films like Evil Dead that I've helped co-write. The film plays with human mind, never knowing what's real and what's a dream. It's a period piece, set in the 80s, which we will shoot using time correct techniques in effects (all make up here) and visually. As such, the best way to do it is to shoot it on 16mm, especially as it's soon too late!

So my post here is to essentially spread the word, hoping both to get some donators (if you like the idea) and also hoping for people to share it, to spread the word. We've managed to raise $205 in the first 24 hours, plus we've got over 80 likes on our Facebook page in the same time (including Harold Skinner, gaffer for the majority of Fincher's movies).
