Great alternative to 3 axis gimbals when light travel or simplicity is a must. Noticeably smoother than many gimbals when running or walking. No batteries needed and balances super fast. Can be used with full vest and arm setup as well. Accommodates payloads between 1-10kg and only weighs 1.25 kg.

Few comments. I ordered one as replacement for my old alu monopod, we'll see how it looks. Good thing here is that it has quite ok tube diameters (not match for my Weifeng video monopod, of course :-) ), and good maximum height.
Plus it is really affordable.

Lanparte Carbon Mattebox

Has anyone seen the new Lanparte Mattebox? I think it's new, I've not seen it until now. http://www.lanparte.com/html/147.html

I'm looking for a good MB that is compatible with 4mm thick filters, and this might be just what's needed. Nice updates compared to the older mattebox, dual 360 degree rotation and filter holders that are both 4x4 and 4x5.65. Lanparte's possibly only weak point was their mattebox, they might have just changed that.

It's probably worth asking Lanparte a few questions but could be a mighty fine option on the face of it.

Excellent shape - Used on one shoot. Very nice little rig, especially if you throw some handles up front.

There are a few minor scratches that were on the metal brackets when I took delivery.
