    My travel Tripod/head was stolen. I'm looking at these three brands, but am open to others. Carbon fiber systems don't seem lighter than aluminium. Would like to keep price under 250usd. Any advice on bang for the buck units? Experiences?

    Carbon is not made to be lighter, it is made to be stronger and has less vibrations.

    Plus usual carbon variants are better made (as alu are more budget oriented).

    You can get any tripod, just look for legs quality.

    And get best head you can afford.

    Note that some Weifeng are worth to look for. Just not cheapest ones.
