Cine Gear Expo 2020 LA Totally Cancelled

    The Cine Gear Expo 2020 has had its dates moved to October 1st-4th. It was scheduled to take place from June 4th-7th at the Paramount Studios.

    I was expecting this. They had to check with Paramount Studios for a good date. Hopefully we will be able to attend.

    Cancelled totally

    In an effort to protect exhibitors, sponsors, partners, staff and visitors from the spread of COVID-19 we have decided to cancel the 2020 LA CineGear Expo. We are disappointed that this year we will not be able to deliver the Cine Gear Expo experience which our exhibitors and attendees look forward to.

    Since March, when we last reached out to you, we have been carefully monitoring city and state mandates, and guidance from public health officials, in hopes of rescheduling. However the climate of uncertainty persists so we now look ahead to 2021.

    In the coming weeks we will reach out to you with respect to monies paid. Thank you for your patience as we work our way through this process.

    We are forever grateful for your participation in the Cine Gear community and look forward to the day we can come back strong and safely see each other again.

    For 25 years, Cine Gear Expo has been a source of insights, products, education and inspiration for the filmmaking community.

    As our industry is navigating through this very difficult situation, we want you to know that our community is important to us—you are important to us.

    The 2020 Show will not take place as originally scheduled June 4 - 7, 2020 but we are here, we are listening, and we will continue to provide our industry with vital tools and information.

    We will miss all the faces we normally see if only once a year at Cine Gear Expo.

    Already, we are humbled by the creativity, agility and resilience that we’ve seen from our industry’s professionals. Ours is a community unlike any other.

    Thank you for your strength and your support, and we look forward to seeing you June 3 - 6, 2021.
