Open source is just facade, Linus Torvalds as fascist
  • Linux creator Linus Torvald commented on the dismissal of the Russian developers in relation to Linux, calling the reasons for the change "absolutely clear."

"Using a few random anonymous accounts in an attempt to implement it by Russian 'troll factories' will not change anything. And for the information of innocent bystanders, why there are no 'troll farm' accounts - 'various compliance requirements' - this is not just an American story," he wrote.

Torvald reminded about the sanctions against Russia. On September 12, the US restrictions came into force, according to which American companies and individuals cannot provide IT consulting and design services, as well as IT support services or cloud services for the corresponding software to Russian organizations and citizens.

"As for sending me new updates - please use your, as you call it, brain. I am Finnish. Did you really think that I would support Russian aggression?" - said Torvald, explaining such intentions by “lack of knowledge of history.”

Interesting sin't it? We can see nature of Linus, and why he had been chosen (it had been lot of people who made UNIX like systems in initial state) and kept above all Linux development for all this years. Because he'll listen to his capitalist bosses, because he is nationalist. And fascist.

  • NATO will loose this proxy war in Ukraine.

  • Ukraine is defending its territory and very existence. Russia doing its own version of MAGA. (MRGA), by trying to expand their territory to the "good old times". And sacrificing more than 600k of their own young man and sending them towards the meat grinder. For nothing.

Well, if you want capitalism - it'll be such. You can't freeze borders and declare nice sounding stupid things.

Check WARMAKING. AND STATEMAKING - AS ORGANIZED CRIME Charles Tilly

    https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/handle/2027.42/51028/256.pdf

Apologists for particular governments and for government in general commonly argue, precisely, that they offer protection from local and external violence. They claim that the prices they charge barely cover the costs of protection. They call people who complain about the price of protection "anarchists", "subversives", , ~Joth, at once. But consider the definition of a racketeer as ,someone who creates a threat, then charges for its reduction. Governments' provision of protection, by this standard, often qualifies as racketeering. To the extent that the threats against which a given government protects its citizens are imaginary, or are consequences of its own activities, the government has organized a protection racket.

Now apply this to COVID, for example. Here government "protected" people from the virus created artificially by this government using money robbed from normal people.

The numbers of KIA and seriously maimed in the russo-ukrainian conflict is of course not accurately known (to the public).

The numbers reported by the KIEV regime every day is pure propaganda and can't be taken seriously.

By any metrics the ukrainian casualities should be much greater than the russians due to the superiority of artillery shelling and air bombs. Probably by a factor of 5 to 10 times more. Everything points to he fact that the ukrainians are running out of manpower. There are more ukrainian men spending their days in the european shopping malls than at the frontline in Donbass. With the current collapse of the uki front lines the war could be over before 2025. But let's give it 3 to 6 months and the Kiev regime will be done.

  • @EspenB

Ukrain now send their man to war by force, around 98%. They have almost 100k special forces who get people on the streets, cars, malls, their flats.

Our guys are smarter, they forced people to get credits and after this rised rates a lot. Such way poor people, people with lot of children and forced to go to war to get good money. As from usual worker job you can't pay anything ($300-500 is normal wage here, and basic goods inflation is like 100-120% per 3 years, wages never followed except few).

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev

I have wasted a lot of time on the russo-ukrainian war, mostly on youtube and twitter, sometimes on Telegram (which I have put dormant for the last months since summer). Without going into the shenanigans of the recruting top much, it's seems like the ukis have mostly run out of volunteers and have resorted to basically kidnapping males of an ever decreasing age to the trenches. Where they hardly survive for a month, let alone a week without any real training. It's just about plugging the gaps with the newly enlisted volkssturm.

That said, the ukis will run out of men much faster than russia. This is just a numbers game. The 2,5 years of attrition seems to have grinded down the AFU to the brink of a total collapse.

I think the real numbers of KIA and maimed in this high intensity conflict will be a revelation after the war. Especially on the ukrainian side of this. While Zelenskji propgates the fake belief in 30.000 casualitis, it's of course total propaganda bullshite. The worst uki figures now in circulation is about 800.000 KIA and more than 1 million men so maimed that they never can't return neither as soldiers or working men in society.

    All for nothing.

  • @EspenB

I think that things are not so simple.

As military production is ramping up, lot of factories are planned to start producing in coming years. SO, capitalist want to make it big. As it is profitable and people are not much required now.

People need to start to realize, if they won't stop capitalism, it'll eliminate all "excess workers". As capitalism see the world as "you die first, I die tomorrow" mentality.

  • @Vitaliy_Kiselev

Nothing is simple. I guess we have yet to see the worst of the russo-ukrainian war.

But pretty sure Trump will not make peace in 24 hrs. Unless it's a total capitulation of the Zelenskyy regime with the whole of east Ukraine gone as part of the deal. Russia could enforce this on their own without any meddling from Trump if the AFU is weakened enough. Also Russia is likely to target the energy infrastructure of Ukraine with another bombing blitz, making Kiev into a powerless freezing hell before christmas.

History legends is out with a new a analytical peace about the Trump factor which is worth watching.

However, enforcing some sort of 100% energy embargo on russia will likely not be possible without using direct US military in Asia and Middel-East. It will become a gigantic escalation. Also, China has no interest in Russia being weakened or loosing the uki war. They know they are the next target of the US gun diplomacy. Taiwan can soon be the next Ukraine so to speak, with Japan and South-Korea as the local proxis.

Anyways, another suggestion of the staggering uki losses is given of 45 thousand each month, which in sort is close to the other suggested figures of a total of 1,8 mill uki casualities (45 000 x 33 months = 1,5 mill). If these numbers are real it would probably open up the peach movement in Europe. But so far only th russians have losses. :-p

  • The russo-ukrainian conflict seems to accelerate faster now than a Formula 1 car at the races.

NATO has now provided the ukis with StormShadow missiles and ATACMS missiles, which already have seen use against targets in Russia in the latest 24 hrs.

Zelenskyy have orderer tens of thousands of anti-personel mines from the US, despite being a signatory to the convention which bans the use of such anti personel mines in conflicts.

Clearly both the US/NATO/EU/Uki spheres are taking these measures to try to avoid the total collapse of the armed forces of Ukraine which has been evident in the last couple of months.

The US embassy in Kiev have been closed down today after intelligence suggest a major russian attack is imminent on Ukrainian targets / infrastructure in the next 24 hrs.

More videos of uki POWS being "eliminated" is circulating on social media, suggesting that the hostilities have hardened considerably.

    It looks very bad IMO.

On the "fun side" it's being reported that the ukis hit a russian Mayonnaise factory during todays drone attacks.

  • @EspenB

I believe that both sides of conflict (elites) are actually very connected and playing on same side. This conflict is a class conflict.
