His immediate task is to complete the transformation of Panasonic into a holding company in two years and free up billions of US dollars as a result of the abandonment of activities recognized as ineffective. The company will direct these funds to new initiatives, not excluding acquisitions of other companies. Panasonic recently announced its intentions to acquire software developer Blue Yonder for $ 7 billion, the platform of which will allow the Japanese giant to optimize production processes and reduce operating costs.
