The information from Viltrox on what I based my previous post was not correct, and the new 135mm f/1.8 LAB lens will be available for Nikon Z mount as initially reported – this is the info I got from Viltrox directly: “Fuji X mount? I haven’t heard anything about Fujifilm X mount, but Nikon Z mount will be launched in the future, though the timeline is uncertain.” Several readers got the same response from Viltrox: Viltrox will announce 4 new lenses for Nikon Z-mount this year (2024) Viltrox will also release a new 35mm f/1.7 lens for Nikon Z-mount (APS-C) on December 18, 2024: New Viltrox AF 35mm f/1.7 XF lens coming soon (also new Viltrox AF 28mm f/4.5 “white edition”) Sample photos from the Viltrox 135mm f/1.8 LAB lens can be downloaded here.
