Welcome to the Movie Settings Database, which lets you search through more than 30,000 movies based on where and when they are set! It's not just about locations, but also time period. The site was founded by Robby Macdonell, who had a lot of time on his hands during the pandemic and got into a really complicated program that scanned movie websites to figure out where movies were shot and where they were supposedly set, then categorized them automatically.
