As filmmakers from across the globe gather together in Austin, Texas to celebrate film, interactive media, and music—plus tacos, beer, and an endless number of brand activations—at this year’s SXSW Conference & Festivals, it’s obvious to see the passion, dedication, and often sheer determination, that was needed to bring many of these projects to life.From the biggest feature film premieres to the micro-budget shorts, the filmmakers, in particular at this year’s SXSW Film and TV Festival, often put everything on the line to write, shoot, and edit their projects.
