During IBC 2024, Saramonic launched WiTalk9, a 9-person intercom system aimed at medium teams. The system incorporates various current technologies to create the clearest internal transmission. These include Saramonic’s ClearTalk 360° noise cancellation, Dual antenna, and DECT system with encryption that should provide teams with about 500m of stable and clear operational range, regardless of ambient noise and interference. This new full-duplex intercom system from Saramonic works enables up to 9 users to work with no hub, for quick and easy setup. The WiTalk9 can also be expanded to up to 30 users by using 4 cascading systems, in case a larger team is needed. Moreover, it can double as a virtual conference device, as it can connect to various apps, like Zoom, by wire or wirelessly. Batteries and a charging case are included, and each battery is claimed to provide up to 15 hours of operating time for the remote sets and 10 hours for the master unit.
