YouTuber MrAlexTech has just released a new version of his animation tool Magic Animate for DaVinci Resolve. As with previous versions, Magic Animate allows you to create animations without using keyframes, therefore saving a lot of time. Let’s see what it can do! Free and paid versions of Magic Animate V3 The plugin is available as a free or a paid version. The free version already includes loads of functionalities like: Animating zooms, whips, spins, and dissolves without using keyframes Choosing whether the animations will show on in-and-out, only on in or only on out Choosing the exact start and end positions Delaying the start or end times of the animation Changing animation curves; custom curves are also available The paid version has these features, plus: Animate CustomThis one is used to create your custom presets. Change the settings to create whatever you want, then go to the Admin tab and disable everything you don’t need (this will make the UI cleaner AND improve performance). Go to Save and save the preset!! Animate Custom (BASICS)As above but by default, it only has the core basic animations enabled! Handy for creating simpler actions. Custom BGThe custom tool but with a background tool as well. Change the color, add a gradient, or even a custom image.
