Market leader DJI has just announced a new series of enterprise-class drones: the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series consists of two new models, both specialized for specific applications in the professional industry. The Mavic 3E targets efficient mapping and surveying missions, while the Mavic 3T addresses the specific needs of aerial operations in firefighting, search and rescue, inspection and night operations. If you’re getting excited about the release of new drones from DJI right now, you should first sit down and try not to be too disappointed. These new drones are not for recreational purposes, nor are they aimed at filmmakers. They’re meant for use in industry applications where access to specific locations is limited, and a drone could be helpful in that regard. That’s why these two models are equipped with a variety of different sensors and specialized cameras to handle difficult scenarios in the field. From scouting a forest fire to inspecting power lines and all sorts of other tasks, these drones can be deployed.
