ARRI has officially released the ARRI Camera Companion App, a customizable remote control tool for ARRI cameras, now available for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Macs. The app allows users to control one or multiple cameras over WiFi or a set network using a fully modular, drag-and-drop interface. It supports a wide range of camera functions including recording, playback, white balance, frame rate, ND filters, lens control, and more. We first covered the app during its beta launch in 2022, when ARRI introduced it alongside the ALEXA 35. At the time, it offered a limited but promising feature set for remote access. Now officially out of beta, the app arrives with full support for five ARRI camera models, flexible subscription tiers, and major upgrades based on feedback from thousands of users during the testing phase.
