Mediocrity...?

I have a pile of footage I shot a year ago, when I was first beginning.

To me, it's an important story, but the footage isn't that good.

I was to a large degree on the water, and as it turns out I am not a human gimbal, as is Rambo.

The Go Pro footage is okay.

The interviews are blown out.

No detail on the white T shirt.

The on-the-water sound with the lav and H1 self-destructed.

So.

Do I benefit by showing this, a story I'm attached to?

It's on the water, it's fun.

No pay, but a story I wanted to tell.

Aurora - Twisted Robot Love Story

Hey everyone! After my last film "Population Zero" (which was shot entirely on a hacked GH2 with Canis Majoris hack) I'm working on my new film Aurora! It's a twisted robot love story about a young man who wakes up 60 years after a car accident only to find himself lost in a dystopic world run by machines.

Even though we're shooting on the RED Epic we're also going to shoot a B-Camera with GH2 material, because I think that these two will match perfectly in post and the GH2 doesn't have to hide itself from the big players.

How to sell a good story ?

I got a good (great) story, but have no budget. Any advice on how and to whom you can sell the story ? Also how to reveal parts of the story in order to keep interest of investors ? How to protect copyrights on the story ? Can you sell just story or is it better with a complete script ? Any advice? I'm located in Sweden ...
