And merry Christmas to all of you ;) My question is as the title suggests- I am considering buying a SSD for temporary storage of multicam Projects.

Can anyone comment on the performance in live preview? (specifically, Sony Vegas with GH2 Stock Settings Footage) But any experience will be nice to know.

Thanks guys :)

Something I know I did this summer :) http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/8460/something-i-know-i-did-this-summer- Thu, 17 Oct 2013 05:36:42 +0000 inqb8tr 8460@/talks/discussions This is a rock festival that I'm connected to. We did the promo and the gigs.

Promo was shot with GH2, sankor anamorphic and few nikkors, sedna hack that I won't let go. It was very simple atmospheric piece, with info written on objects, boats, cars, doors etc. Graded in Lightroom. 23hrs from idea to tv broadcast, guess I broke some record.

And one of the videos from the festival itself, done with 5 cameras, GH2, Canon 1Dc, 7d and 550d, and HMC150. Matching them was pain in the ass, but most important to me was the fact that 1Dc (though not in LOG mode and not 4K) and GH2 matched amazingly well. I like my GH2, and would rather have 25 GH2's than one 1Dc! :)) I had GH2 on the rig others around on monopods and handheld, multicam edited in premiere..

Thanks for checking it out!

Seeking GH2 hack for specific requirements http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/6580/seeking-gh2-hack-for-specific-requirements- Tue, 02 Apr 2013 14:26:12 +0000 Wilrus 6580@/talks/discussions Hi all, Im a very new DSLR user, and have grown up doing all my uni work on 'camcorders' i'v recently perchanced a GH2 (Defult 14-42mm lens). and have a Class 10, 45/mbs sandisk Extreme 32GB card. (cant afford bigger / better)

Im looking to shoot concerts with it, (as the one of the cameras along side my 'camcorders' as part of a multicam set up) so need as higher quality and good low light performance, as about a hour's worth of footage would fit onto that card. (if that makes senses as most the gigs i work are no longer than a hour in length) 24/25fps in 1080i/p (i'm indifferent as i know what im asking is already very specific)

I know nothing of GOP or anything technical, so try keep your advise dumbed down for me please haha

Any help would be greatly apprecated,

All my Best:

Wil Henry Silent Syndicate Productions

Fine tuning White Balance in multicam http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2504/fine-tuning-white-balance-in-multicam Tue, 06 Mar 2012 14:58:28 +0000 DrDave 2504@/talks/discussions Here's my question--I have six cams, all white balanced to the same card, and the color is always ever so slightly different. Of course light does not reflect uniformly, so there are always small differences. Is there a way to tweak the cams color so they match better other than by eye and trial and error? For example, is it worthwhile to sample a patch of a blue shirt in two cams and see what the difference is in Adobe Premiere Pro?
