The original control grip on the Panasonic AU-EVA1 camcorder seems too short. Particularly, when cameraman shoots with it on a shoulder rig, it's not comfortable. That's the reason we design this extension arm for AU-EVA1, the cameraman doesn't even need to remove the original screws from the camera body.

There is an AU-EVA control grip adaptor on the extension arm, just rotate the original control grip into it. On another end, there is a standard ARRI style rosette teeth adaptor with M6 screw on it, it's easy to connect to any base with the ARRI style adaptor. Besides that, we add a built-in control cable inside the arm.

The cameraman can plug the original 3 pin control cable into the built-in port and plug another 3 pin signal jack into the "REMOTE" port on the camera body, use it as the original. Open the knob to adjust the length of the extension arm to get best holding position cameraman wants. It's the must need gear for shooting with Panasonic AU-EVA1.

Check this link to see more details of this arm.

LanParte URSA Shoulder Rig http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/17016/lanparte-ursa-shoulder-rig Thu, 25 May 2017 12:10:21 +0000 andyharris 17016@/talks/discussions Here's a review that I made of the LanParte Shoulder Rig:

I compared it to the stock item that the USRA Mini comes with. On balance (pun intended!) LanParte have done a good job - I certainly enjoyed the mobility it gives.

Just writing to say I bought the Lanparte FF02 through the deal offered here and it is great. Arrived in a week and everything was just as advertised. It took a bit of time to get things set up with my rails and some small Nikon primes, but it was easy to flip the gear around so that it fit with my setup. Focusing is smooth and there is very little give in the setup. I highly recommend this product and give thanks to Vitaliy for saving me a big bucks from the price in other places.

Lanparte Carbon Mattebox http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4975/lanparte-carbon-mattebox Tue, 23 Oct 2012 21:44:46 +0000 arknox 4975@/talks/discussions Has anyone seen the new Lanparte Mattebox? I think it's new, I've not seen it until now. http://www.lanparte.com/html/147.html

I'm looking for a good MB that is compatible with 4mm thick filters, and this might be just what's needed. Nice updates compared to the older mattebox, dual 360 degree rotation and filter holders that are both 4x4 and 4x5.65. Lanparte's possibly only weak point was their mattebox, they might have just changed that.

It's probably worth asking Lanparte a few questions but could be a mighty fine option on the face of it.

Lanparte baseplate mod http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/3326/lanparte-baseplate-mod Thu, 24 May 2012 11:52:59 +0000 kupchenpo 3326@/talks/discussions I have this lovely baseplate that I bought from Lanparte through PV to use with my GH2. I love it, but it's been a bit of a pain in the ass to use because every time I need to change the battery, I have to slide the camera off the baseplate and then pop the QR plate off to get at the battery terminal. I noticed that you could file down the QR to get the battery out, and saw here that some people had done that. So, I borrowed a friends angle grinder and did that.....work like a charm. When I put everything together I noticed that I might be able to grind enough of the baseplate away to be able to open the battery port with everything assembled, but that it'd be cutting it close. So I said, "f**k it, I'll give it a try", and boy am I glad I did. Now I can change batteries when fully rigged......awesome! Now, I don't think everyone will want to do this, it does compromise the structural integrity of the unit to some degree, but for me, it's 100% worth it.

imageimageimage

As you can see in the last picture, it was necessary to grind down to just about where the QR slides in, and the section I grinded down is loose now, but even if that section comes off, it's not really necessary for holding the camera in place, it just wouldn't slide smoothly from both sides any more. This is something I'm willing to give up to be able to change batteries without disassembling!!!

What I lost in beauty, I gained in functionality :)

I'm assuming it will maintain dead accurate focus while sliding in or out.

I need a little equipment and gear shopping help in Shenzhen/Hong Kong, China!!!! Lanparte User!!!! http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2535/i-need-a-little-equipment-and-gear-shopping-help-in-shenzhenhong-kong-china-lanparte-user Thu, 08 Mar 2012 18:49:44 +0000 TenaciousJake 2535@/talks/discussions Hey gang! So I'm heading to China in a few days, Macau specifically, but I'm trying to arrange a day trip to Shenzhen and surrounding area when I land in Hong Kong. I'm documenting a high-wire artist with my 7D, 5D, a couple GoPros, and my fantastic Lanparte shoulder rig; Master Chief Edition;) and I'm in need of a few extra thing's. I could only find these things online by ebay retailer or directly from the company in China but it dawned on me that almost everything I want is created in a factory (or is distributed) in Shenzhen or somewhat near where I am staying. Lanparte, Cinematics, Chinavasion, Dengfu (that's for my triathlon bike), to name a few. Also, many of the ebay retailers I come across when ordering are located in Shenzhen or Hong Kong. I'm in the south of France for the moment and I'm severely isolated from anything remotely resembling a photography store, let alone anything this specific. I generally order all of my stuff online as it is and from what I hear, there's no way a package would get to me in time nor should I consider having anything sent to me in China. Instead, I'm hitting the pavement and attempting to buy what I need directly from the Chinese manufacturers and I'm coming to the site that has already brought me sooooo much fortune. I'm hoping I can find a little help, if not, just some leads to go on.

The list (just simplifying, not trying to sound condescending):

Lilliput 7" monitor w/Peaking and HDMI out, ebay retailer is located in Shenzhen, I'm going to email them.

V-Mount battery pinch w/battery and accessory cables/dummy battery. I sent an email to Lanparte but I've yet to hear back.

Video tripod/fluid head. The FC-04H Mod Fluid head + CT7402 legs would be ideal (I know, order one from PV deal but I didn't have the cash until now and like I said, getting something shipped to me in China is ill-advised), or something similar. I know that Weifeng is in Ningbo but perhaps they have a retailer in Hong Kong, this is what I'm trying to find out.

Lav Mic Fuzzy windscreens.

Honestly, anywhere that sells cheap lenses. I completely understand that I get what I pay for but judging by my Lanparte rig, China really is trying to break the stigma for poor quality.

Please let me know if you've got any answers/ideas/leads/thoughts.

Thanks and be well!
