This time, we introduced Nebula Gyro Jib, different form other Jib, is exactly a perfect match of Nebula 4200 and Nebula 5300. It just like a brand new “handle”, through the dove-tail slot, gimbal can be mounted on it. Now you may switch Nebula 4200 over the spring arm, the 3 axis handle, the single handle or the jib.

Because the camera is still on the stabilizer, that means Nebula Gyro Jib can carry cameras like the Canon XC15 and Panasonic PX230 which is compatible with Nebula 5300. With the help of Gimbal’s lock mode, making the camera stays locked on to a given target as the jib is moved. Also, if you switch to the semi-lock mode, it allows the camera to follow jib’s movement on the horizontal direction but stay locked as the jib moving up or down.

Further more, the Nebula Remote can be added as the controller unit to remote control gimbal’s Pitch and Yaw axis and mode switching, so that the direction of camera can be easily changed. Users may also remote control camera to start/stop recording by using the Remote. This system breaks the angle limit of traditional jibs.

Of course there are some features similar to other travel jibs such as easy to assemble, easy to monitor and easy for transportation. Nebula Gyro Jib is made of carbon fiber, making it only weights 1.4kg while having a reasonable length of 2.4m when fully extended. There are standard 1/4 and 3/8 screw holes on the jib for monitor and tripod. It can use regular weights or a handy donut shaped counter weight water bag as the standard fitting.

Meet Cine-Altin Knight Driver http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/12965/meet-cine-altin-knight-driver Mon, 11 May 2015 14:17:54 +0000 CinemaLumix 12965@/talks/discussions The only equipment, screw driver that makes sense. Easy to handle and difficult to lose on the set. It will eliminate the constant search for a quarter in the depths of your pocket. It is durable and none bendable. And will look more professional. It is still in the prototype stages, but it is going to get a nice and thick rubber head grip and more improvements to the design! I would like any inputs or suggestions from my film colleagues. What do you think?

Guerilla jib arm http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/2743/guerilla-jib-arm Sun, 01 Apr 2012 07:11:45 +0000 Gethinc 2743@/talks/discussions A while back I connected my blackbird to a painters pole to do a very quick and dirty jib shot.

Anyone else tried it? I've got another job coming up this week and I want to give it another shot. the rotational movement of the blackbird makes it a very hit and miss affair

DIY Jib/Crane http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/1647/diy-jibcrane Tue, 06 Dec 2011 09:38:49 +0000 csaapi 1647@/talks/discussions
I'm Arpad from Hungary, and I just making a DIY camera crane. I hope I'll have time to make photos about it this weekend and will post to here.
But now I have some questions about it. I'm already ready with it, only want to mod the tripod mount. Now I'm using it on a 501HDV head with the QR plate, but I want to put it only on the center columns, but I need some kind of panning bearing.
Have you got any idea what can I put on it. I dont want to put on those Lazy Susan bearings, I dont like too much them.
I want something like this: http://www.proamcranes.com/shop/images/D/bearing_mount.jpg

thanks
