My first attempts of shooting and editing a live rock performance - the group called ZEP plays only Led Zeppelin songs.

So far I did no color grading - just plain cut with Edius.

Any feedback appreciated.

C.P.E. Bach 300th anniversary

2014 is the 300th anniversary of the composer C.P.E. Bach, one of the most influential of the sons of J.S. Bach. One of the obvious differences between the father and son is that C.P.E. wrote cello concertos, whereas J.S. Bach wrote the suites for unaccompanied cello.

Here's an excerpt from the Cello Concerto in A Minor, Wq. 170, performed on original instruments.

GX7 / GM1 - Best Video Settings

Since some people showed interest in the GX7's thread sbout opening a Best Video Settings new thread, there it is. And since (in theory) the GM1 have almost the same internals, maybe the settings could work for both - if we discover that it is not the case, a separate thread could be made.

Feel free to share the settings that you are using and the results - unfortunately I did not have enough time myself to make some research yet :)

Which of these combinations would be better in night photo?

NEX (5N, 6, 7, A6000, A3000, A5000, etc) with the SEL 35mm f1.8 or Lumix GX7/GM1 with the PanaLeica 25mm f1.4

Although this forum is focused mostly in the video, my question is for still photography, but equally valid for the video. I love make street photo and usually I do night street photos with my NEX-5N accompanied by Sigma 30mm f2.8 and Zuiko 50mm f1.4 with ambient light and I doubt as the new sensor of Panasonic with the PanaLeica lens.

And I would think in this exercise, both cameras at ISO 1,600, 3,200 and 6,400 at the street in the night, both lens at full aperture, the PanaLeica is faster, but the Sony sensor is larger and has theoretically advantage. but the new sensor of Panasonic seems has cut the distance respect to the NEX.
