GPU is idle 0-20% of load when CPU is running all at 100% load all the time. Is that caused by non-official cuda support for gtx980 in PPCC ? Last PPCC 2015.3, fresh drivers on GPU and MOBO and of course CUDA Playback/render activated I am actually thinking about buying one gtx780ti for cuda work Thank you

Cheap 2nd graphics card with 2xDual Link Dvi suggestions? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/5418/cheap-2nd-graphics-card-with-2xdual-link-dvi-suggestions Sat, 08 Dec 2012 18:18:31 +0000 qwerty123 5418@/talks/discussions So, I have a gigabyte 660 ti 2gb ram card that is currently doing double duty as both GUI for two dual link dvi monitors and as the processing CUDA card for premiere (and resolve). I hope to free up the 660ti just for processing and run my GUIs out of a cheap second card that can handle two 27" monitors. (I could also, maybe, live with one dual-link dvi and one vga, although this isn't optimal--I see some people recommend the gt120).

Does anyone have suggestions for a 2nd card like this? I imagine that others are going to be in a similar situation to me so hopefully this question helps others. Thanks!

To CUDA - Or not to CUDA thats the question http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/4413/to-cuda-or-not-to-cuda-thats-the-question Wed, 29 Aug 2012 22:02:51 +0000 simple 4413@/talks/discussions HI' im new to CUDA, i read some posts recently recomending nvidia gt240 for extra horsepower to programs link premiere pro.

not to the meat of the question, i got confused by all those cards. quadro, gt, gtx consumer ect so basicly i want to ask, whats the diffrence and what to you need/want if your buying anyways.

ex the quadro fx 4800 got 192 cuda cores, and i looked up the new 660ti got 1300 cuda core, what does that mean, will 660ti be faster then the 2k$ card fx quadro.?
