Lanparte extension arm for short EVA1 control grip http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/19272/lanparte-extension-arm-for-short-eva1-control-grip Tue, 27 Mar 2018 00:58:45 +0000 lanparte 19272@/talks/discussions

The original control grip on the Panasonic AU-EVA1 camcorder seems too short. Particularly, when cameraman shoots with it on a shoulder rig, it's not comfortable. That's the reason we design this extension arm for AU-EVA1, the cameraman doesn't even need to remove the original screws from the camera body.

There is an AU-EVA control grip adaptor on the extension arm, just rotate the original control grip into it. On another end, there is a standard ARRI style rosette teeth adaptor with M6 screw on it, it's easy to connect to any base with the ARRI style adaptor. Besides that, we add a built-in control cable inside the arm.

The cameraman can plug the original 3 pin control cable into the built-in port and plug another 3 pin signal jack into the "REMOTE" port on the camera body, use it as the original. Open the knob to adjust the length of the extension arm to get best holding position cameraman wants. It's the must need gear for shooting with Panasonic AU-EVA1.

Check this link to see more details of this arm.

Steadicam Arm for GH2 http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/10313/steadicam-arm-for-gh2 Mon, 05 May 2014 09:39:27 +0000 imaitland 10313@/talks/discussions I am looking for a steadicam arm for the gh2 - will consider the knock-offs but am tired of unstable shots using a variety of Novoflex Pistock C: http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/Portals/1/product/images/prd%7B4502F039-C7A3-45EA-9C7B-F9147708D2C5%7D.jpg Or a Gorilla pod; http://www.outthereimages.com/images/hagen_120412_09_GorillaPod_Focus_video_shoulder_rig_800px.jpg

Any suggestions or tips ... I want something with a wide range of motion that doesn't 'jar' when I walk at a reasonably fast pace with it. Don't fancy the hassle of a Gimbal rig ... Surely there is a tried and tested one out there by now?

Cheers...

First version:

http://shop.ebay.com/jinfinance/m.html?_nkw=arm&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313

About $40 shipped.
Seller also have 5 pack that I recommend :-)

You can use better mounting with this arm (generally any that accepts 15mm rods), like relatively cheap ($30) angle clamp

Could anyone let me know how to set up a stabiliser vest-arm? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/5573/could-anyone-let-me-know-how-to-set-up-a-stabiliser-vest-arm Mon, 24 Dec 2012 12:45:20 +0000 andyharris 5573@/talks/discussions I have a generic 5000 series stabiliser that I use by hand. Now through the wonders of the P-V deals I have the 1-7kg version by CAME.

There wasn't an instruction manual so I've had a bit of a play and run about outside with it.

I think that it has to be set as low as possible because the GH2 is so light. At the moment I can still do a better job by hand. I did have a go at running for which I got a better result -- but not like the smoothness in the demo videos.

Could anyone point me in the right direction --- Thanks ..

Anyone else tried it? I've got another job coming up this week and I want to give it another shot. the rotational movement of the blackbird makes it a very hit and miss affair
