    WhatsApp will stop working for all Windows Phone users since 31th December 2019.

    Since 1st February 2020 it'll also stop working on iOS 8 and lower and Android 2.3.7 and lower.

    It is just management trying to get end year bonuses by cutting around 5-10 developers who maintain this apps.

    Combined it is around 20-30 millions of app users and for lot of them it is highly used app (despite being very slow and buggy on older phones).

    Interesting, isn't it? Damages exceed expenses by orders of magnitude, but they do not care, as it is your damages.
