    Alibaba Group has reported its second-quarter 2018 consolidated revenues reached CNY80.920 billion (US$12.229 billion), increasing 61.25% on year. But net operating profit decreased 54.25% to CNY8.020 billion, while net profit dived 40.85% to CNY8.685 billion.

    In June, the number of active customers increased to 576 million.

    Strategy is similar to Amazon, they just do not have so strong cloud infrastructure to compensate.
