GH4 and external timelapse trigger

    I would like to use my GH4 with a slider/timelapse controller that will work in shoot-move-shoot mode. I've already used the internal timelapse function on the GH4, but recording timelapses this way obviously requires the camera shutter to be externally triggered by the timelapse controller. Is this possible with the GH4?

    Got it - the mic input also functions as a trigger input in photo mode

    Yes, just stick it in bulb mode and use the shutter release port with the appropriate adapter.
