Sony HXR-MC1500 Shoulder Mount Camcorder http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/9016/sony-hxr-mc1500-shoulder-mount-camcorder Mon, 09 Dec 2013 04:40:25 +0000 babypanda 9016@/talks/discussions The trend is towards smaller and smaller cameras.

So am I crazy for considering a shoulder mount camcorder?

No rigging required and seems like the ideal size/format to be filming with (even though I haven't filmed before).

Pain in the ass to lug around. That's a deal-breaker for most people, right?

Any thoughts about this model or shoulder mount camcorders in general would be appreciated.

In all the excitement with the GH3 (some 1200 replies in 5 days here only ) I wanted to start a new discussion, because I feel we (or at least some of us) have to face the reality. Should we buy the GH3 or start filming again with a camera that is made for it ?!

I have the GH2 for 2 years, have 3 different lenses and tried several hacks, I bought the Tascam DR-40 for sound (and other stuff). I needed a rig to hold everything, and now it looks stupid. If you are not doing fiction, (always) filming on a tripod, or in a studio and you also want to be fast and flexible (which is often necessary) it just doesn't work! (for me ;-)

Therefore I am considering a 'normal' video camera again. But which one? Next month the AG-AC90 will be available for only € 1800,= . I got it yesterday to try it out for 1 day. As there is no information (or footage) about the camera, I wanted to do some video comparison.

I compare footage of the AC90 with the GH2 (As we do not have the GH3 yet, but I don't expect it to be a miracle anyway ;-). It was not my intention to make good shots, but to put both cameras in 'hard' circumstances, such as high contrast, back light, movement, moire, rolling shutter effects etc. I did different tests and tried to keep equal settings, same shooting moments and movements, tripod / handheld, slow motion, rack focus / auto focus, daylight / low-light / dark, menu / settings. I only had the camera for a day (without a manual), so I don't know it well. Most images in standard settings were a bit too bright (but this can be adjusted in the camera).

The AC90 has a smaller sensor so less DOF (but in daylight can be achieved with a ND filter.) I didn't have one during testing (but I did use a ND in some shots with the GH2, so that is not a fair comparison). I expected the AC90 to do worse in lowlight but I am actually quite surprised!

The video is definitely not a 'scientific' pixel tweaking test. I know little about how to test GOP, I / P/ B structure, 4:4:2, peaking, dynamic range, AVCHD profiles, etc. But you guys do! @Vitaly_Kiselev @Driftwood @Ralph_B @cbrandin and others ?! I can put some original files online for some deeper analyses. What can you tell about the footage? GOP, I/P/B, etc? Is it hackable (or worth hacking ;-) to give it a bit more Mbs? etc?

I hope to open up the discussion (from the large sensor cameras such as the GH3) and look forward to hear everybody's opinion!

Ps1 Some shots in the end are only with the AC90 because it was too dark for the GH2 (with the 14-140 mm lens)

Ps2 I know YouTube is not good, but I also think it is only showing HD 25P as I rendered it 50P (and the orginal looks better and more smooth)

Ps3 Sorry for the stupid music (without sound was even more boring)

Selecting Sony PXW-X70 vs. Panasonic GH4 http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/12813/selecting-sony-pxw-x70-vs.-panasonic-gh4 Thu, 16 Apr 2015 00:53:32 +0000 Kob 12813@/talks/discussions From a practical usage and capabilities POV, which one would you recommend to purchase : the Sony PXW-X70 or the Panasonic GH4 (besides the 4K advantage of the GH4) ?

I am familiar with the GH3/GH4 capabilities, but wondered if there is a tangible advantage of the X70 for an amatuer who is just starting out with video production of stage shows. It is understood that the shooting will be done at 1920x1080 with a minimal post effort.

    The X70 and the GH4 + a simple lens are about the same price - $2000 .

C300 Mark II, C500 MK2 and EOS C700 the new 4K from Canon http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/12660/c300-mark-ii-c500-mk2-and-eos-c700-the-new-4k-from-canon Tue, 24 Mar 2015 10:34:31 +0000 GOODYES 12660@/talks/discussions I have confirmed that in NAB we probably be able to see the new upgrades called Mark 2 for the existing C300 and C500 EOS lines. This cameras are expected to have 4K support, and at least 4K internal recording on the C500. Well, this cameras are out there for more than 3 or 4 years so an update is a must for Canon. Now there is more competence with great cameras from Sony and Panasonic. So Canon need to address this in order to not loose market share.

A part of C300 and C500 mk2 (C100 mk2 was released some weeks ago), today we received (we not the only ones) a suspicius Press Release and photo of a Canon EOS C700 model.

Press release states that C700 includes a 35mm sensor, 4K 4:4:4 at 14Bit Some sites including canonrumours.com say that this is a fake, they think about a fake by the picture, but we believe that, if it is a fake is for the specs, as 4K at 4:4:4 and 14Bit is not available in any other camera of this size.

More than 12Bit requires go for a F65 or equivalent, but.. who knows ?

The PR cotinues explaining that new cameras will features a How Swap Compact Flash and Hard Disk Recording or 3x 2.5", so that conforms it is almost a 80% fake as 3 units of 2.5" size is not logical for a EOS form size.

But PR mentions some models: CTH-702 for the hard drives, etc .. Also New Metadata Extensions and a OPEN FORMAT EOS XML METADA SPECIFICATION 1.0

A few days remain for NAB so stay tuned, Who know, again, rememebr last years ? Canon annouced almost nothing new, so can they finally loose ots market, probably or not

Well, was rumores just one month ago, but today more news, so might be the C700x not a rumour - See more at: http://thehouseofvideo.com/c300-mark-ii-c500-mk2-and-eos-c700-the-new-4k-from-canon/#sthash.eQ9JDT5w.dpuf

Sony PXW-Z100 4:2:2 10bit 4k Cine 20x Camcorder http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/8004/sony-pxw-z100-422-10bit-4k-cine-20x-camcorder Wed, 04 Sep 2013 13:59:09 +0000 philiplipetz 8004@/talks/discussions Sony has also announced the new FDR-AX1 Handycam at IFA 2013. The FDR-AX1 has a similar specification to the PXW-Z100 but is only capable of QFHD (3840 x 2160) recording with the XAVC S format. The FDR-AX1 uses 4:2:0, Long GOP and MP4 file format.

    Key features

    1. 4K (4096x2160) 50p or 60p shooting The camcorder provides extremely high sensitivity due to the back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. With 8 million effective pixels, the 1/2.33" sensor captures 4K images at 50p or 60p. The inbuilt high-performance G Lens offers maximum shooting flexibility, including a wide angle of 29.5mm (equivalent to 35mm) and 20x powerful optical zoom.

    2. XAVC recording format at 4K 50p/60p, 4:2:2 10-bit at 500/600Mbps, HD at up to 223Mbps The PXW-Z100 uses Sony’s XAVC recording format first employed in the PMW-F55 CineAlta 4K camera. MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 compression is used for HD (1920x1080), QFHD (3840x2016) and 4K (4096×2160) content. Image sampling is 4:2:2 10-bit, with an intra-frame system that compresses each frame individually at a maximum bit rate of 500Mbps or 600Mbps during 4K 50p or 60p recording respectively and 223Mbps during HD 50p or 60p recording. The XAVC format is ideal for those looking to implement a high-quality, secure and worry-free workflow.

    3. XQD Memory Card recording The XQD Memory Card is a new standard of solid state memory, which was recently defined by several industry leading companies. XQD uses the ultra-fast PCI Express interface and Sony’s unique camera processor to enable stable video recording at 500Mbps or 600Mbps. The PXW-Z100 features two XQD Memory Card slots. Multiple cards can be used in various ways, such as for relay recording. When the first card becomes full, recording continues on the second card without a break.

    * The use of new S Series XQD cards (QD-S32E or QD-S64E which supports 180MB/s transfer speed) is recommended.

    1. HDMI interface for 4K output and 3G HD-SDI interface for HD output The HDMI interface on the PXW-Z100 can output 4K as a 50p/60p signal. When the PXW-Z100 is connected to a Sony 4K-compatible BRAVIA TV, the recorded 4K image can be displayed in 4K 50p/60p quality. A future firmware upgrade is planned to provide compatibility with the new HDMI 2.0 standard and enable 4K 50p/60p output to a wider range of devices. Other features include a 3G HD-SDI interface that supports output up to HD 60p. It also supports HD output during 4K recording.

    2. Paint function for more creative freedom The PXW-Z100’s paint function enables multiple image parameters to be adjusted including gamma curve, black level, skin detail and colour. The range of settings is similar to those available in the PMW-F55. Together with other setting options, parameter settings can be recorded as a camera profile onto a memory card. The recorded camera profile can then be used to set the same parameters in another PXW-Z100 to enable the matching of quality and image tones when using a multi-camera setup.

Choosing gear setup for verité filming http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/11769/choosing-gear-setup-for-verite-filming Sat, 15 Nov 2014 16:18:27 +0000 arnarfjodur 11769@/talks/discussions I now have a client that wants me to do "verité style" documentary filming. The assignment would probably mean a few days per months of shooting for a few months, as certain events unfold. I'd like to see if anyone can help me brainstorm the right technical setup-up for my situation.

I am not used to this style of filming, which involves being a "fly on the wall", usually handheld and following some action unfold for long periods of time, with long takes which need to be in focus and correctly framed at least most of the time :) I'd be doing own sound, sometimes with a lav-mic on the subject plus a shotgun mic on the camera.

In the last few times I've been on this job, I've rented a C300 package with a handheld rig. I believe the client wants this sort of aestetic, i.e. not ENG or traditional small chip video camera.

The problem is that the places that rent C300 in my location are not very many or reliable, and I sometimes need to go out with little notice for only 2 hrs of shooting. So making sure I can find the camera and accessories, picking up, testing, setting up, returning, etc is quite a bit of hassle and expense every single time.

The only camera I currently own is a bmpcc and I have m43 glass. I tried using it with a loup, hand-held rig and an external field recorder. I've also tried it with the Retroflex, but it's still borderline unusable because it's just not stable enough handheld, even on wide lense. But I guess it's not impossible, but biggest challenge was monitoring sound on the external device, and anyone who knows the bmpcc also knows it's not an ideal tool for this, unless I can find good enough accessories to make it work?

I don't want to buy a C300 - although it has the ergonomics I need. Even the C100 doesn't seem like that good of a deal, especially since I don't own Canon glass and I don't do this type of filming all the time.

I'm wondering about either trying to buy the right accessories for the bmpcc, but I'm worried it's never really going to work, or perhaps get a GH4. Does anyone have experience using the GH4 in similar situations? How did you rig it?

Are there other options that I'm missing?

GW- SP100, the future of modular cam ? http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/11752/gw-sp100-the-future-of-modular-cam- Wed, 12 Nov 2014 14:22:35 +0000 draft59 11752@/talks/discussions The new Super 35mm CMOS image sensor is also being integrated into a two-piece mini 4K camera system, the GW- SP100. This tiny camera produces beautiful 4K video, with 4096x2160 or 3840x2160 resolution at up to 50/60p recorded locally to SDXC UHS-I U3 memory cards. It has an interchangeable MFT lens mount system, chosen due to its very shallow flange depth, which offers the greatest flexibility to end users who have already invested in lenses. The design concept camera system features a video unit with a foldable and detachable 7-inch HD LCD monitor and offers the same IP capabilities as the GY-HM890 camcorder, with HD wireless video transmission and wireless camera control.

The mini 4K camera can also be attached to the MT-GB001 gimbal option; this may be used with a helicopter system for aerial shooting, with anti-shaking and anti-blurring technology ideal when used with a handheld system. So, while the mini 4K camera produces images suitable for cinematic applications, the system also has applications for broadcast news and could open a whole new world for broadcasters.

So here's the deal - I have a task to choose two pro cameras for a live broadcast oriented television studio. The budget is pretty tiny, only 5000$. As I understand, besides the cameras I will need HDMI-SDI converters (because their broadcasting hardware has only 2 x BNC SDI/ASI inputs and outputs). So those have to be included included in the budget.

I've thought about Panasonic AG-AC90 (costs around 2000$) that seems pretty nice in terms of capabilities for its price. Any other options? And what about HDMI-SDI converters for about 500$? Help would be very appreciated.

Chinon Bellami HD-1 another retro style cinema camera http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/9714/chinon-bellami-hd-1-another-retro-style-cinema-camera Wed, 26 Feb 2014 06:08:19 +0000 IronFilm 9714@/talks/discussions Chinon (a low end consumer manufacturer in Japan) have put a rather mysterious announcement on their website. A pistol-grip retro style FullHD 1080p camera. http://www.chinon.co.jp/bellami/

At first I though maybe a cheap D16 / BMPCC competition? But nope, seems it will be a little too close to BMPCC pricing. Still, could be a good cheaper alternative for the hipsters lusting after a D16. But largely I'm mainly speaking 100% speculation here as info is very scarce on this.

This has the most info I've seen yet: http://rlfc.cocolog-nifty.com/rlfc/2014/02/chinon-31f1.html

About US$830 (80,000 Yen), which puts it too close to a BMPCC in price I think for this to be a competitive choice (unless Chinon manages something unexpected). Am hoping it at least has a CCD global sensor like the D16 which is its main competition? But I would take a guess it is more like to have a typical compact point and shoot camera sensor in it instead. Perhaps we should instead be expecting something more along the lines of the C mount modded GoPro in terms of what this Bellami HD-1 will be like?

Other info: Will go on sale in just a few weeks (mid March). Says D, C, CS, and M42 mount is supported? (with adapters)

The websites on this website illustrates just how tiny this will be in the hands of a user!

    http://www.superheadz.com/bellami/ http://www.superheadz.com/bellami/bellami.php

Additionally take a look at the top with the "T" & "W" buttons! :-o Looks like zoom lenses will have this as a control, this kinda cancels out the thought this is going to be targeted at retro users with vintage lens? Instead more likely for the CCTV lenses that have this functionality? However, it could also be a digital zoom function. This is a cheap-stuff manufacturer after all.

Because if they offered h.264 8-bit on the 4k model for example, along with the other formats there would be pretty much no reason to buy any other camera, right?

GH3 & FS100 http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/9668/gh3-fs100 Wed, 19 Feb 2014 14:47:00 +0000 chasehagen 9668@/talks/discussions Just curious if anyone on here knows of any comparisons between FS100 and the GH3? (personal experience included of course)

Really interested in dynamic range between the two. I would assume the FS100 would still have the edge in lowlight performance (i.e. grain/noise) but what about other aspects like actual resolution tests/comparisons (lines resolved), Dynamic Range, Rolling Shutter, Moire, Slow-Mo, Codec, Grading Capability.

I would assume the GH3's 50Mbps would be far superior in color grading latitude and for Green screen compositing than the 24Mbps AVCHD of the Sony? Just be interesting to see if anyone knows of any video comparisons between the two. I've got a GH3 (and a GH2) just curious if the Sony's worth the extra few $K if you don't need XLR and Super 35mm DOF and extreme low light performance. I'd apreciate anyone who could share some insight on their observed differences between these two! Thanks!

    Sony FDR-AX1 4K pro camera, $4500 http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/7995/sony-fdr-ax1-4k-pro-camera-4500- Wed, 04 Sep 2013 05:02:02 +0000 Vitaliy_Kiselev 7995@/talks/discussions image

The Sony FDR-AX1 Digital 4K Video Camera Recorder is the first consumer 4K video camera from Sony. They've used the technology developed for their professional video cameras to create a compact, easy-to-operate 4K consumer model that's designed to make 4K video and professional-quality audio available to the masses. The FDR-AX1's powerful image processor is identical to the high-performance processors found in Sony's professional video cameras. By incorporating an image processor that can handle 4K video at 60 fps into a consumer camcorder, everyone will be able to document important family moments, get creative with friends, record sporting events and capture the world around them in lifelike detail. The FDR-AX1's native 3840 x 2160 4K resolution enables you to create movies with four times as much detail and quadruple the image quality of a Full HD 1080p camcorder. Plus, this model features a back-illuminated 8.3MP Exmor R CMOS image sensor that works in concert with the processor so you can record at the maximum frame rate - even when shooting 4K video. This means that even your high-speed action shots and sports videos will be clear, sharp and detailed.

In order to provide 4K video recording in a consumer model, Sony designed the FDR-AX1 to support the XAVC-S 4K/HD recording format which is usually reserved for professional applications. However, since the XAVC-S codec will save as an MP4 wrapper, you can still create web-friendly videos that can be easily shared on social media sites like YouTube. Another highlight of the XAVC-S recording format is its ability to record images at 150 Mbps in 4K. In fact, it can record images at 50 Mbps even when you're shooting in Full HD 1920 x1080 resolution. The FDR-AX1 has also adopted a more professional-type of recording media thanks to the inclusion of dual next-generation XQD media card slots. Both XQD card slots support fast 4K/HD writing and reading rates. Plus, you can use the relay recording function to switch between XQD slots and lengthen your recording time. You'll also be able to quickly transfer footage via SuperSpeed USB 3.0 from your XQD cards to your PC by using an optional XQD reader/writer with a USB 3.0 connection.

Another feature that makes the FDR-AX1 a professional-class consumer video camera is its audio recording capability. It records 2-channel Linear PCM audio with a built-in high-performance stereo microphone. However, the camera also features dual integrated professional-class XLR audio inputs for connecting external microphones. You'll even be able to mix audio tracks from the internal microphone with the audio recorded from any connected external mics. There are a variety of shot-enhancing functions and manual control options as well. More experienced videographers will be able to take advantage of the independent zoom, focus and iris rings. Plus, the camera's viewfinder and LCD monitor employ Peaking, Zebra and Center Marker functionality for more advanced shot setup and autofocus options.

    image

Other image-enhancing features include three ND filters and five unique Paint functions, which will help you achieve a more cinematic aesthetic with your movies. The FDR-AX1 has flexible connectivity options as well. Besides the XLR audio inputs, the camera is equipped with a headphone jack, an HDMI output that will transfer 4K footage to compatible 4K Bravia TVs, a USB 2.0 port for fast data transfers, an analog A/V output, an accessory shoe and more. With the flexible connectivity options, professional-class features, 4K recording capability and ease-of-use, the FDR-AX1 bridges the gap between consumer and professional-class. While experienced videographers will be able to really produce great video and audio with this model, even ambitious beginners will be able to master this camera and capture professional looking, cinematic 4K video with ultra-clear stereo audio.

    Capture 4K 3840 x 2160p Video at 60 fps

This model supports 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution. With four times better than Full HD 1080p image quality, you'll be able to capture the finest details at high resolution and produce vibrant, realistic images. Plus, the fast image processor is the same one employed in professional Sony models, making it possible to record 60p movies at the camera's full resolution for smooth playback with no loss in realism - even when panning the camera and shooting moving subjects.

Sony G Lens with 20x Zoom

The Sony G Lens is an aspheric lens with special low-dispersion glass. It's specially tuned to capture subtle qualities of definition and color. In addition, the lens offers a broad 20x optical zooming range with a 31.5 - 630mm (35mm equivalent) focal length that enables an expansive range of video expression.

    1/2.3" Back-Illuminated 8.3MP Exmor R CMOS Image Sensor

Sony's unique Exmor R CMOS sensor has a back-illuminated structure with wiring layers on the back of a photodiode (light receiving element) that dramatically boosts low-light sensitivity for shooting more lifelike images - even in dim lighting. This Sony technology also makes the camera nimble, so it can read massive 4K data at 60 fps.

Professional Image Processor for Real-Time 4K / 60 fps Recording

The FDR-AX1's image processor is identical to those in 4K camcorders used by professionals. It rapidly processes signals transmitted from the CMOS sensor and finalizes images. In processing the vast 4K data in real-time at 60p, the processor achieves four times the resolution of the Full HD 1080p format. This processor also features high-performance noise reduction for truer images, while image quality adjustment functions support greater freedom of expression. It is also specially tuned for the FDR-AX1 to deliver accelerated image processing performance.

    XAVC-S Consumer-Use 4K/HD Recording Format

The FDR-AX1 records 4K/HD movies in the XAVC-S codec, which was developed for consumer usage based on the professional XAVC 4K/HD codec. XAVC-S uses MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 long GOP for video and LPCM for audio compression, while saving files in MP4 format. The XAVC-S codec also allows longer recording times within a given media capacity than XAVC, making 4K recording easier and more convenient.

    XAVC-S 150 Mbps 4K Video & 50 Mbps HD Video

With the FDR-AX1, high-quality XAVC-S video can be recorded at up to 150 Mbps. Additionally, there is also an option to record high-quality Full HD 1080p video at 50 Mbps.

Dual XQD Media Card Slots for High-Speed 4K Recording & Playback

The FDR-AX1 features two XQD media card slots. XQD media cards provide smooth, high-speed reading and writing of 4K/HD video. Plus, a relay recording feature makes it possible to lengthen recording by automatically switching between two or more media options. You can quickly transfer data to a PC as well, by using an XQD reader/writer with a USB 3.0 connection. The FDR-AX1 is compatible with S-Series, H-Series and N-Series XQD media card types.

View 4K/60p Video on Compatible BRAVIA TVs with Supplied HDMI Cable

The FDR-AX1 supports playback of your recorded 4K content on a 4K TV by simply connecting the two devices using the supplied HDMI cable. Thanks to the camera's original function, you'll be able to transmit 4K/60p (4:2:0, 8-bit) signals to a Sony BRAVIA 4K TV, which is specially tuned to bring out the full quality of your 4K/60p video recordings. Even fast-moving sports and action footage will be clear and smooth. To enjoy this content on a Full HD monitor, simply change the menu HDMI output settings to 1920 x 1080. If you have a 4K monitor, you can use the supplied HDMI cable to transmit 4K/30p signals from the camera to the monitor.

    TRILUMINOS Color Technology

The FDR-AX1 supports Sony's TRILUMINOS Color technology, which allows you to view photos and movies in rich, natural colors on any TRILUMINOS-equipped television. The expanded color gamut ensures lifelike, vivid colors when you playback your recorded video and still shots.

Save 4K Video Content to Your PC

The FDR-AX1 provides two methods for connecting and transferring footage to a PC. You can use a USB cable or insert your XQD memory card into an XQD reader/writer that is connected to your PC. You can also save data from the camera to other media sources like external HDDs. Once you've download data onto your PC, you can use Sony's PlayMemories Home software to manage and play your videos. You can edit video with the XAVC-S-compatible non-linear editing software as well. After your footage is edited, you'll be able to upload and share your 4K movies on social media sites like YouTube.

    Built-In Microphone & Professional-Class Audio XLR Terminals

In addition to a high-performance internal microphone, the FDR-AX1 features two external XLR jacks for connecting external microphones that can also be used to record superior-quality audio together with your movies. You can also mix audio from recordings made using the internal microphone and externally connected microphones, respectively.

Three ND Filters & Five Paint Functions for Expressive Cinematic Looks

The FDR-AX1 features three ND filters for adjusting the amount of light entering the image sensor from the lens. There are also four filter settings: Clear, 1/4 filter, 1/16 filter and 1/64 filter. These filters and settings give users the ability to match shooting conditions, as well as adjust the shutter speed and aperture even on bright, sunny days. There are also five paint functions (white balance, gamma, detail, skin detail, matrix) that can be combined and adjusted in the paint menu to create expressive movie styling such as cinematic looks.

Seven Assignable Buttons & Three Independent Control Rings

The FDR-AX1 was designed with two start/stop buttons. One is located on the side of the camera grip, while the other is located on the handle. This affords ease-of-use while shooting. The handle also features a zoom button that enables convenient access while shooting from low angles. There are seven assignable buttons as well, which can be programmed with functions that enable users to quickly access them without using menus. Assign functions include: Marker, Zebra, Peaking, Focus Magnifier, Auto Exposure Level, SteadyShot, Color Bars, Rec Lamp [F], Rec Lamp [R] and more. Having seven assignable buttons will allow you to adjust to varying shooting conditions on-the-fly. There are also three manual control rings on the camera for focus, iris and zoom.

Zebra, Peaking, Center Marker & Guide Frame

Shooting tools such as Zebra, Peaking, Center Marker and Guide Frame are designed to assist you in shot setup. They'll help you get the cinematic expression you are after. Zebra highlights overly bright areas with stripes in the LCD and viewfinder. This feedback helps users adjust brightness and prevent whiteout, especially on the subject. Peaking simplifies focusing by highlighting in the LCD and viewfinder the areas most sharply in focus. Users can finely adjust the peaking level and choose white, red, yellow or blue peaking to clearly contrast with the subject. By making it easier to know where the shot is in focus, this feature helps users achieve the desired manual focus setting. Determine the center of your image at a glance using the Center Marker feature in the LCD or viewfinder, while the Guide Frame works as a guide for aligning horizontal and vertical lines.
