War: Ford cuts car production by around 25%
    • Ford Motor (F.N) plans to suspend or cut production at eight of its factories in the United States, Mexico and Canada throughout next week because of chip supply constraints, a spokeswoman told Reuters on Friday.

The changes come a day after the Detroit automaker warned a chip shortage would lead to a decline to vehicle volume in the current quarter.

It is certainly not some random chip shortage, it is more like attempt to quickly reduce car production and hike prices.

War: Korea to induce slavery for specialists
    • In South Korea, a database of specialists from the most valuable industries for the state will be created in order to prevent Chinese companies from poaching personnel and preventing technology from leaking abroad. This measure will be implemented as part of a five-year plan to strengthen the protection of intellectual property. The plan was developed by several government agencies in the country, including the ministries of industry and justice, the Office of Intellectual Property, and the National Intelligence Agency.

Suddenly free market is not a good thing anymore if you are weak in competition.

Enemies: Rich have only one issue now - where to store cash
    • In 2021, 887 superyachts were sold, up 77% from a year earlier and more than double that of 2019, according to a report from marine data specialist VesselsValue. Demand has increased thanks to the growth of capital and the desire of wealthy people to retire during the pandemic. Sales of large yachts last year were a record for the entire time of observation! By the way, the total capital of 2660 billionaires in the Forbes list from January to early December last year increased by $1.6 trillion.

Inflation:Amazon Prime rose to $15 per month
    • Amazon Prime is increasing in price for the first time since 2018. The company used its latest earnings to reveal that it's raising the fee to $15 per month (previously $13), or $139 per year (previously $119). The higher rates kick in February 18th for new customers, but they won't take effect for existing customers until they renew March 25th or later.

Soon, jumps will become regular, even before end of the year we can see another $2-3 increase.

War: Will Apple be forced to allow applications installation from other sources?
    • The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday voted to approve a bill that would curb the app stores of companies that lawmakers say have too much control over the market. We are talking, of course, about Google Play and the Apple App Store. As part of the bill, large software distribution platforms are prohibited from requiring application developers to use their payment system - developers should have a choice.

But even more important in the new bill is that it will force Apple to allow apps to be installed on its devices from third-party sources. Such a move would allow app developers to avoid 15% and 30% App Store fees. However, according to Apple, this will jeopardize user privacy. On the contrary, although Google promotes its Google Play on Android devices, it does not prohibit users from installing software from third-party sources.

It is lie that Google likes to still allow you to install APK, as with each new version of Android it is harder and harder to do.
