The pixel size should be more reduced to increase the number of pixels in the same chip size. Also, forming deep PD is a key technology to avoid deterioration in image quality. To secure sufficient full well capacity (FWC) in small pixels, patterning and implementing technologies with higher difficulty level compared to the ones for semiconductor memory are required. Especially, it is essential to secure a high aspect ratio (>15:1) implant MASK process technology that can block high-energy ion implantation; in fact, the aspect ratio tends to be gradually increasing in the industry these days.

Capitalism: Mainstream pinky decided to attack amateur porn http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/24878/capitalism-mainstream-pinky-decided-to-attack-amateur-porn Fri, 11 Dec 2020 14:07:05 +0000 Vitaliy_Kiselev 24878@/talks/discussions

Mastercard says it will stop processing payments on Pornhub after confirming unlawful content on the site. Bloomberg reported the news, which comes as Pornhub is making substantial changes to how it moderates content.

“Today, the use of our cards at Pornhub is being terminated. Our investigation over the past several days has confirmed violations of our standards prohibiting unlawful content on their site,” Mastercard spokesperson Seth Eisen tells The Verge. “As a result, and in accordance with our policies, we instructed the financial institutions that connect the site to our network to terminate acceptance. In addition, we continue to investigate potential illegal content on other websites to take the appropriate action.”

Pornhub came under fire after The New York Times reported finding nonconsensual pornography, recordings of assault, and videos of underage girls on the site. The company called claims that it allows child sexual abuse material “irresponsible and flagrantly untrue.” Soon after, however, Pornhub banned uploads by unidentified users and blocked downloading videos from the site.

As Trump is no longer much relevant and guys now feel the power they decided to bring morale and order into Pornhub.

Guys get your hands out of cocks and cunts.

Btw all this Youtube ban policies began with "advertisers not happy with... some shit" (as Google made some excuse they could use in case of failure) and transformed into full fledged medical and political censorship.

Sanyue Industrial, a private electronics manufacturer in the southern city of Dongguan, formed the first party committee in the company's 11-year history in October. This happened after the government informed the company that it was necessary, - says the head of the company Huang Shengying.

According to Huang, a committee of five party members who have already worked for the company, including two from the management, plans to meet frequently to "examine the spirit" of government policies and Xi Jinping's speeches. “We need to better understand politics in order to survive. We are told that party building is good for corporate development. "

Three other private companies in Dongguan have also recently set up party cells, including an electronics manufacturer, an auto parts manufacturer, and a chemical company. Dongguan spokesman Zhao Zhijia calls the party committees “red charging stations,” saying that “these companies are integrating party building into their corporate culture. It's a win-win. "

Such party committees often take precedence over decision making by corporate management and councils.

Horrible :-)

MAGA: US ordered ARM to move all development on Amazon AWS cloud to control it http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/24876/maga-us-ordered-arm-to-move-all-development-on-amazon-aws-cloud-to-control-it Fri, 11 Dec 2020 12:22:01 +0000 Vitaliy_Kiselev 24876@/talks/discussions

ARM is taking an important step and is moving the vast majority of its design (EDA), automation, and development workloads to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Developing new SoC models is not an easy task and can take months, or even years, with high computational infrastructure costs. ARM now offloads core workloads to AWS, it'll use Graviton2 instances with Arm Neoverse N1 cores. ARM will be developed on ARM: sounds ironic, but it is.

ARM plans to leverage agile resource consumption in the cloud to generate significant budget savings — the ability to quickly scale workloads is ideal for development workloads that require parallel simulations and repeated test runs that are resource intensive but not sustained.

ARM calculated that moving to the cloud will reduce its data center footprint by at least 45% and reduce its computing load by 80%.

It is first move as actual control in ARM already slowly slide to NVIDIA managers (despite that things are not approved yet).

US want to use AWS cloud as hostage situation, as now it will be very hard to not approve things. Because will held 100% of all private information and design documents, having ability to just sack all actual developers and hire new ones at any moment.

Capitalism: RedHat wants money, will stop supporting and development of CentOS http://personal-view.com/talks/discussion/24871/capitalism-redhat-wants-money-will-stop-supporting-and-development-of-centos Fri, 11 Dec 2020 06:06:12 +0000 Vitaliy_Kiselev 24871@/talks/discussions

The future of the CentOS Project is CentOS Stream, and over the next year we’ll be shifting focus from CentOS Linux, the rebuild of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), to CentOS Stream, which tracks just ahead of a current RHEL release. CentOS Linux 8, as a rebuild of RHEL 8, will end at the end of 2021. CentOS Stream continues after that date, serving as the upstream (development) branch of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Meanwhile, we understand many of you are deeply invested in CentOS Linux 7, and we’ll continue to produce that version through the remainder of the RHEL 7 life cycle.

CentOS Stream will also be the centerpiece of a major shift in collaboration among the CentOS Special Interest Groups (SIGs). This ensures SIGs are developing and testing against what becomes the next version of RHEL. This also provides SIGs a clear single goal, rather than having to build and test for two releases. It gives the CentOS contributor community a great deal of influence in the future of RHEL. And it removes confusion around what “CentOS” means in the Linux distribution ecosystem.

When CentOS Linux 8 (the rebuild of RHEL8) ends, your best option will be to migrate to CentOS Stream 8, which is a small delta from CentOS Linux 8, and has regular updates like traditional CentOS Linux releases. If you are using CentOS Linux 8 in a production environment, and are concerned that CentOS Stream will not meet your needs, we encourage you to contact Red Hat about options.

They now want to offer you unstable alpha version of their RHEL software so you will be tester under the name of CentOS Stream, meaning that it is fully unsuitable for uses where people use present CentOS.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China has published new guidelines for the country's aviation industry, which outlines the hygiene rules to be followed at airports and aircraft in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In particular, flight attendants were advised to wear personal protective equipment (masks, goggles and shoe covers), as well as to wear disposable underwear. “It is recommended that crew members wear diapers and avoid washrooms and thus the risk of infection,” the document explains.

How soon it'll be requirement for everyone during flying?

How about checking diapers for all people on any mass gatherings?
