Hi,

I have a brand new GH2 (couldn't wait for GH3) form B&H for cheap.

I installed Apocalipse Now patch and I can't find a way to shoot in the best quality at 1080 25p (progressive). Looks like there's some option for 1080 25i, but not in HBR mode (as I understand this is the best quality mode) . In HBR it can make only 30p.

Is it possible to record in HBR mode in 25p? I could'n find the exact answer around.

Well, if it's no possible to shoot 1080 25 progressive , maybe I have to sell it... :(

Is there some hope for my case?

Hi,

I am looking for either one 'do-it-all' patch, or a couple of patches I can keep on cards for different situations shooting web/corporate stuff...

1 - Studio, loads of light, mostly product demo stuff

2 - Location - as above

3 - Location - as above but poor light

4 - on a fishing boat, at night, trawling - loads of contrast...

Am currently using flowmotion 2.2, but sometimes the card refuses to be written to (this happens a load less since using the SD ass. formatter) Cards are 95mbps sandisk from Amazon - mostly 16gb.

I am currently trawling through a whole load of posts and tyrying out a few patches, but any help greatly appreciated.

hello, im a beginner with lumix hacks. I got the gh2, and im searching for a cinelook, that i can make perfekt grading in the postproduction. I dont know but there so much hacks, and my english is not so good, that i understand all the setting. Im looking only for the best setting for a filmlook, with best qualitiy and good grading in the post. thanks best regards

Hello everyone. Has anyone experienced the following things? I've been trying out the the sedena a settings patch and have experienced a few things. On several occasions my viewfinder with flicker off and then on again. Also, after recording a few minutes, on one occasion, the camera display said it had gone in to sleep mode. That file was lost. Are these things that I can trouble shoot. I'm sure it's probably something I'm doing. I'm using the best class 10 cards on the market. Any thoughts or ideas? Thank you!

Straight forward... Just installed Driftwood Mysteron Classic patch (154 Mbit). How can i (on a mac) make sure that I've succeeded with the install? I'm worried because the file sizes now is about the same/minute as with my previous 44 Mbit hack! Shouldn't Mysteron eat my 32GB memory card pretty fast? Filming Cinema 24p 24H.

How do I download Ptools for mac?

I got a GH2 recently.

I want to use the Flowmotion V2 hack. Do I put it on my SD card and that's it, or do I need to download Ptools? I don't know much sorry. I wonder if there is Ptool for Mac?

Wow there is so much information out there I've been reading for hours and hours.. Currently my first hack is the Sedna A Q20 High Detail matrix - I am going out tmw to test it.

Could anyone be so kind to tell me what types of hacks run good in this card and which hacks would you actually use... this will save me a lot of headaches since I will be able to narrow it down and test the few good patches.

the card is the sandisk 32gb 45mb card.

sorry if this has been asked, or already being discussed somehwere, if so just delete this and redirect me.

after I've loaded a patch inside of ptools, can any settings me adjusted within ptools to get the most out of that patch? i've noticed if you change the number under "quantizer" other settings below are changed.
once again, sorry if this has been asked, i'm just like everybody else on here trying to get the most out of my camera ; )

gh2 patch , bad quality?

I installed the new apoc. patch and now the footage im getting seems very very grainy and or bad quality.

any ideas? I mostly shoot surfing/ skating / extreme sports.

i am using drifwoods drewnet patch and no matter if i change to PAL or NTSC it always records 720p @ 50FPS, i have repatched and patched, and still its stuck on 50FPS (NTSC version framerate?) My camera was originaly bought in NTSC country, Macau, any ideas what i should do?

I got my GH2 a few weeks ago and started to pick up information about hacks. Suddenly a realize that only from driftwood I have 30, Lpowell 5, and several others from others developers! Wuauu! I don´t from where start!! I will start testing soon. It´s a whole new world, I´m very happy being able to try all these wondwrful patches! from the regural reliable patches to the more xtreme ones from driftwood!!

Being from PAL land wich ones do you know that gives true 25 progressive? 100Mbps Flow Motion V2 does it, another one?

About those xtreme btitrates ones, (1080/24p) waiting for my 64G 95mbs: Quantum Mysteron Burst 170M+ Orion V4b 154M+ Quantmybaby 176M GOP3illa test1 test2 176M Shoul be needed a 95mbs xtreme pro SDXC Another one?

Would this xtreme patches work with PTool 3.66? I tried FlowMotion V2 with 3.66 and everything works ok.

The Driftwood patches like Cluster V6, Apoc. now V7, Sednas, Canis Majoris and Valkyrie ones would be more reliable allaround with Lpowell series as well. Those ones can work with SD cards 45mbs class 10

Am I wrong?
