Chinese camera accessories manufacturer ZITAY has just released a CFexpress Type B to SSD adapter that allows you to record on external (and usually cheaper!) NVME M.2 drives rather than regular CFexpress Type B cards. The adapter is available now and retails for $43.99. When it comes to RAW video recording, CFexpress Type B cards have rapidly become the de-facto standard, being adopted by many mirrorless and digital cinema cameras. These include the RED V-RAPTOR, Nikon Z 9, Canon R5 and R5 C, and Panasonic LUMIX GH6, just to name a few.
