Your Brain on a Curved vs Flat Ultrawide Monitor

I picked up the LG 34WK95U-W used in B&Hs used dept for $1050, the person before me only used it for 4 hours. I feel like I got a great deal. Compared to my last LG ultrawide, this one is not curved so it took my brain about 2 days to get used to a flat display again. I have noticed that the blacks are a little richer on this one compared to my old LG 34UC97-S 34. The reason I got this one was to view my 4k videos in a true 1 to 1 ratio (within Resolve) so not to be confused by any scaling issue that might happen like moire (my old monitor which could not do 4k). Now that I have a fairly color accurate monitor that is wide and can display 4k videos while I edit I feel like I don’t need a second reference 4k monitor that cost and arm and leg.
