Tilta has just released their cage and rigging options for the compact, retro-looking FUJIFILM X-M5. This L-shaped cage, entirely made out of aluminum, adds an Arca-Swiss baseplate, a genuine leather strap attachment, and a hot shoe thumb grip to your camera. So, let’s take a closer look at it! The FUJIFILM X-M5 was released in October 2024 and is a nice-looking hybrid mirrorless camera with retro vibes. Despite being compact and lightweight, the X-M5 can capture footage internally in up to 6.2K (6240 x 4160), open gate, 25/30P 10-bit 4:2:2, and a maximum bitrate of 200Mbps. In Full HD, the X-M5 can record at up to 240fps, which is quite impressive. Also, if you want to get the best out of it, you can even record externally in Blackmagic and ProRes RAW via the HDMI output port. Accessorizing a compact camera can sometimes defeat its purpose. Tilta has just created a couple of accessories for the FUJIFILM X-M5 to extend and improve the camera’s usability while keeping it lightweight. The Tilta cage for the FUJIFILM X-M5.
