Announced here at NAB Show 2025 eight years after launching the original Nucleus-M, Tilta has finally unveiled the much-anticipated follow-up to the company’s popular follow focus system. The new Tilta Nucleus-M II is a wireless control system that should provide some advanced, four-channel lens control for cine-style shooters.This new system will be backward-compatible with the first-gen Nucleus-M components, plus it will offer some enhanced features, greater precision, and updated algorithms to help shooters and crews of all sizes better sync and coordinate their shots.Let’s take a look at the new Tilta Nucleus-M II and see what it could offer for your projects.Introducing the Tilta Nucleus-M IIAs mentioned above, this new Tilta Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System will provide advanced, four-channel lens control for cine-style shooters. It will be backward compatible with its original model and features more reliable transmission, greater precision, a 2.4" display, updated algorithms, and L-series battery power. With its “ultimate kit” package, the Tilta Nucleus-M II will include a FIZ handwheel controller, lanyard, ARRI rosette adapter, one 0.5 and two 0.8 MOD gears, one electronic focus, and five standard focus disks.
