A new Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 S-line mirrorless full-frame lens is expected/rumored to be officially announced very soon. We may even see an announcement next week. I already reported that a new 35mm lens will be introduced together or shortly after the Z6 III camera. I think that this new Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.4 is the rumored Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens from the latest roadmap. Here again is what I reported a few weeks ago: Nikon decided to change the design of the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens. That means we may get a lens with a different aperture – maybe f/1.1 or f/1.4. I was told that the main concerns Nikon had were the size and the price of the initially planned Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 S-line lens. There is a very low chance that the new 35mm f/1.2 will be a Plena lens. Some rumors indicate that the 35mmm f/1.2 lens will be announced together or shortly after the Z6 III. It seems that Nikon had issues with one of the lens elements of the Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.2 lens. Nikon is considering to release also new 35mm f/1.4 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses.
