The Sony BURANO Version 2.0 firmware update gets a release date, and it adds new recording formats, SDI output for monitoring, and improved metadata and monitoring. Let’s dive in! The Sony BURANO was unveiled in September 2023 and features an 8.6K 35mm Full-Frame, Exmor RS CMOS sensor (35.9 x 24.0 mm), dual native ISO (800 and 3200), 16 stops of dynamic range, and shoots 8K up to 30 fps, 6K up to 60 fps, and S35 cropped 4K up to 120 fps.
