In filmmaking, that can mean taking on various roles, from writing, directing, or even starring. But for Vivian Kerr, it meant all of the above. Vivian Kerr is the writer/director and star of the independent feature Scrap, which follows single mom Beth as she moves into her car and struggles to hide her homelessness from her estranged brother Ben. The film has screened at several independent film festivals across the country, including the Coronado Island Film Festival, where it won the award for Best Narrative Feature.It was a blast to sit down with Vivian Kerr and hear about how she handles every facet of production.
