Here is the first Nikon Z6 III camera mockup I received, placed next to the Nikon Z8 for comparison (click for larger view): The upcoming/rumored Nikon Z6 III was described to me as a “mini-Z8 small flagship camera” (the Z8 was a mini-Z9, the Z6III should be a mini-Z8). Of course, we can get development announcements and teasers way before that. These are all rumors at that point and please treat them as such – do not sell your Z6 II camera yet (I will, at my own risk).
