Chinese company FALCAM has recently released yet another camera cage for the Panasonic LUMIX GH6. It features an aluminum construction (198g) and offers 1/4”-20 mounting points, two extra cold shoe mounts, and F22/F38 quick-release interfaces. It is available now for $89.90. Panasonic’s flagship Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera – the LUMIX GH6 (review/Lab Test/Q&A with Panasonic) – has been receiving a lot of attention lately. The camera just got cuddled by Panasonic with firmware update v2.0 (all about it here) and many third-party manufacturers have been developing accessories to improve its operability. The cage is made of aluminum parts and features a sandblasted anodized surface treatment, which results in a sleek gray finish. Image credit: FALCAM From what I can see, it attaches to the camera via a single 1/4”-20 screw at the bottom. This basically results in a single point of contact with the camera.
