Introduced in 2020 as a 6-lens kit, the Vespid Prime series was designed to offer full-frame cine lenses in a lightweight, versatile form factor. The lenses are built with lightweight metal housing starting at 725g (25.6oz), and are designed for flexibility across handheld, gimbal, drone, and traditional cine setups. Optical features include chromatic aberration control to minimize color fringing, a 16-blade iris for smooth, natural-looking bokeh, and a 270° focus rotation with standardized 0.8 mod gearing for consistent handling across the lineup.
