DJI RS 4 Mini Gimbal Announced with Intelligent Tracking Module

DJI RS 4 Mini is a new gimbal for lightweight mirrorless setups. Weighing 890g/1.96 lbs, it can carry payloads up to 2 kg/4.4 lbs. The gimbal is compatible with the new DJI RS intelligent tracking module, which improves subject tracking and supports visual commands. Bringing features known from the flagship RS series, such as the automated axis locking system, or fine-tuning knob, the RS 4 Mini is available now starting at $369. Although DJI was not the first manufacturer to come with a lightweight one-handed camera gimbal, I think it is safe to say that the DJI RS series (formerly Ronin) is currently the most popular line of gimbals on the market. While the RS models have been getting increasingly compact over the years, DJI wanted to go a bit further and offer a very compact model for small mirrorless setups. That’s why the company introduced the DJI RS 3 Mini model back in January 2023, combining the maximum payload capacity of 2 kg/4.4 lbs with a compact and lightweight design (weighing only 850g/1.8 lbs).
