All jokes aside, this new 04 Air Unit Pro from DJI is here to help aerial videographers add FPV capabilities to their non-FPV drones.The 04 Air Unit series is set to include a DJI 04 Air Unit and a DJI Air Unit Pro, which—when working with DJI Goggles—will unlock real-time video streaming from many miles away. Let’s take a look at this new series and how you could FPV-ize your drone video workflows.The DJI 04 Air Unit SeriesAs an upgrade of the previous 03 Air Unit series, these new models similarly consist of three modules—the sensor module, the lens module, and the transmitter array. These newer versions will both increase image sensor size and video recording capabilities. The 04 Air Unit Pro in particular will utilize a 1/1.3-inch sensor which will be capable of up to 4K video at 120fps, along with 10-bit recording in D-Log M and at a 155-degree ultrawide FOV.
