CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association in Japan) published their latest camera production data (orange: 2023, black: 2022, blue: 2021): October 2023 CIPA numbers by ZoetMB Shipments were down slightly from September across the board, although shipped value for 35mm and larger lenses was slightly up. CIPA predicted 5.72 million DSLR and Mirrorless bodies and 9.39 million lenses for calendar 2023. We’re predicting 6.07 to 6.22m bodies. Last month we predicted 5.9 to 6.2m bodies.
